Rev. David Barnes
Senior Pastor
David joined the Twin Oaks staff in the Fall of 2016, as he began his M. Div. studies at Covenant Theological Seminary. After graduation in May of 2019, he was called to be an Associate Pastor among the Twin Oaks family. In May of 2026, the congregation called him to be the Senior Pastor. He echoes Psalm 22:10 and rejoices in the grace upon grace he has received from the fullness of Christ. Blessed throughout his life by the faithful shepherding of pastors, and elders, he counts it a weighty joy to care for the souls of those at Twin Oaks. His wife Crystal, and their four children, previously served as missionaries with Mission to the World in Madrid, Spain, from 2012 to 2015. If not pastoring, David enjoys time with his family, pickleball, or spoiling a good walk with a round of golf.
