Morning Bible Study
The book of 1 Corinthians contains Paul’s exhortations to the church in Corinth, which was struggling with a lack of unity brought about by arrogance and divisiveness.
In the 12 week Knowing the Bible study guide, author Jay Thomas helps readers understand the only remedy for disunity is the truth of the gospel. At the heart of 1 Corinthians is the reality that the good news of Jesus Christ miraculously saves, changes, and unites God’s people.
The Morning Bible study meets on Tuesdays through April 16th from 9:15 to 11:30am. We begin with a lecture in the Lecture Hall and then divide into small discussion groups. A Children’s Program is offered from infants through Pre-K for the morning study only.
Evening Bible Study
The evening group will again be using a study guide written by our beloved Bob Stuart. 1st Peter is a study in perseverance with an emphasis on a life of grace through Christ.
2nd Peter is about perception -i.e., having the wisdom and discernment to compare what is being taught in the world today about the truth of Scripture. Therefore, believers should demonstrate perseverance and perception in their lives.
The Evening Bible study meets on Tuesdays through April 9th. We begin at 6:15 with fellowship. The study of scripture runs from 6:30 to 8:30pm.
Register BELOW - The cost for either the morning or evening study guide is $10.
Join us as we study God’s word together. “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.” Timothy 3:16-17
