Special Called Congregational meeting, This Sunday, September 23, immediately following the morning worship service to approve the dissolution of the pastoral relationship with TE Scott Kerens.

All members and friends of Twin Oaks are invited to attend a presentation on Wednesday, September 26, at 1:00 pm in the Lecture Hall. Les Prouty will be our guest and will discuss the Twin Oaks’ online directory; the emergency information system in place for church notifications; and how to access and view the sermons if sick or shut-in. He will be available to answer your questions and later take your picture, if you prefer not to submit your own. Light refreshments will follow in the Fellowship Hall.

Farewell Congregational Lunch for Scott & Elizabeth Kerens and Family September 30, following morning worship. Scott and Elizabeth have served at Twin Oaks Church and School for the last 11 years in many different roles, Scott's most recent at Associate Pastor and Elizabeth as Interim Nursery Coordinator and School Board Member. They will be moving to Marco Island, Florida the middle of October. Come join us for a fun church family time of thanking Scott & Elizabeth for how they have loved and served us well! Meat and drink will be provided by the church. If your name begins with A-P bring salad or side; Q-Z bring dessert.

Life Chain 2018 Sunday, October 7, after morning worship. A lunch will be provided in the downstairs Reception Hall at 12:15 noon. Our speaker will be Dr. Mark Dalbey, President of Covenant Seminary and Russell St. John, Lead Pastor of Twin Oaks. Following the luncheon, we’ll be standing and praying in front of Twin Oaks from 1:30- 2:30pm. Sign up in the Narthex at the ministry desk, or on line at www.twinoakschurch. org/lifeteam. Reservations for lunch are needed so we know how much food to prepare.

Annual Local Mission Conference, You Will Be My Witnesses, is October 13 & 14. Serve Day, Saturday, October 13 from 8:30-12:00 pm. Here's your opportunity to serve right here in our area. Sign up online, in the narthex, or by calling Shawn Perry at 314.800.3271
Sunday School, October 14, 9am will feature twenty-two of our attending mission agencies supported through our local mission budget. Come hear each one as they share what God has done this year in their ministries. Coffee and donuts will be available AFTER in the Fellowship Hall, at 10am for the Local Missions Fair. Visit our missionaries’ displays and get to know them!
Lunch catered by Candicci’s will follow our worship service with Dr. Tony Felich. Sign up and pay ($5/person, $10/family) in the Narthex or online.
Sunday Evening come back at 5:30pm for a brief message by Dr. Felich followed by a longer look at some of our local ministries: Circle of Concern, the Freedom School, Cru St. Louis (JG & Jenny Porwoll), and Mission Gate. Some of our guests will help with a children’s program; pizza provided for kids at 5:30pm. (Sign up your kids online HERE or in the Narthex.) Nursery will also be available. An ice cream social will follow. Come grow together!

PCA Women’s ONE Conference – October 19-20, 2018
Presbyterian Church of America’s annual ONE Conference invites women of all ages to come together in the study of God’s word. This popular conference is attended by ladies from around the country – and it is being held right here at Twin Oaks Presbyterian Church on October 19-20! This year’s conference will challenge us to think biblically rather than emotively about oneness from the truths found in John 17. Workshops sell out QUICKLY. Awana Clubs The new club year has begun. This year it will be ages 2-6th grade! You can learn more and already sign up HERE.

English Teachers are needed immediately for the fall semester. Join a great team
of English as a Second Language tutors as we minister, instruct and share God's love to resident internationals on Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8:00 pm. No experience necessary; training provided. Women's Bible Studies Tuesday Mornings - Nancy Guthrie helps you see the person and work of Christ as the fulfillment of Scripture through the study of The Word of the Lord: Seeing Jesus in the Prophets. Tuesday Evenings – Bob Stuart’s study will guide you through Malachi. Malachi, as a faithful prophet of God spoke to a culture that seemed unconcerned about the things of God. Click HERE to sign up.
