Ladies Walking Together - Sundays @ Twin Oaks Park AND/OR Tues/Thurs @ Queeny Park!

Here are the details for these two opportunities:

Ladies Walk, Talk, and Pray Ladies join us for a “ladies night out” twice a month on Sunday Evenings during spring and summer! May 6, 20; June 10, 24; July 8, 22; August 12, 26. Leave the kids at home. Dad can do the bed-time routine … and come Walk (exercise), Talk (fellowship), and Pray (for each other). Wear walking clothes and shoes and bring a water bottle. Meet us at church at 7:00pm. From there we will walk (and talk) around Twin Oaks Park for 45 minutes and end in the Community Parlor to pray for one another for 45 minutes. Organizers: Wendy Myers and Chandra Fessler.

Ladies Walking in Queeny Park Ladies join us as we sing praises, memorize Scripture, and do arm exercises. We will walk on Tuesday and Thursday Mornings from May 29 - August 2. This time is designed for young & old. You can choose to walk 1 day or 2 days a week. Walk a long path from 7:30 to 9:00am or a short path from 7:30-8:30am. We will pray and talk about Hosea & Habakkuk & Micah as we walk. No need to register. Join us anytime that works for you! Have questions? Contact Lynn Hassett @ 636-225-3089 or Mary Pat Peterson @ 636-236-7070.

The Twin Oaks women’s ministry exists to encourage all women to grow in their love of Christ through:

  • teaching the Word
  • building intimacy and true fellowship with one another in Christ
  • identifying and using their gifts for the glory of God, the edification of His church, and the extension of His kingdom

For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

This verse from Romans 12:4-5 encourages us to search our hearts to identify ourselves and our gifts to share with many. Through various fellowship opportunities we love, share, encourage, and hold accountable the truth we have in God’s word for each of our lives.
